Despite being desperate to go home, mum had a temperature spike to 39°C/102°F, so hospital is still the right place to be.
She has been giving me a few updates herself, which means she has been able to use her phone today, so that's more progress.
I haven't visited today, as it seems like myself and my boy may have the beginnings of a cold. That would be about right, as he started Kindergarten last week, so illness season is here.
