My Bloody Valentine always has been my favorite band. So back in 2001, when I still was editing a (paper, this is pre internet times) fanzine, I convinced a bunch of bands to record some covers to put together a CD to be distributed with it.
I burned about 200 copies (in my bedroom back at my parents house, on my desktop computer, using nero). A friend made the cover and I printed it at home. I even printed some stickers to paste over the white-label cheap rewritable CDs. It was very clearly home made, but looked pretty cool.
So.
I've just found it uploaded entirely to YouTube. Holy shit this is amazing.
I don't even know if I keep a copy somewhere at my parents house. I probably do, but I doubt the 1€ cheap CDs are even readable more than 20 years later. So the fact someone have uploaded this just a year ago is almost magic.
Ok now I just need to find a copy of the Slowdive tribute I've put together for the next (and last) issue of my zine and put it online too
