"content": "Any time I look into self hosting matrix it looks like a nightmare. It might have an advantage in long-term community group chats but for 1-1 conversations I don't see the point.\n\nThat's not even considering the security/privacy concerns with how matrix is designed but I'm not really qualified to talk about that.",
