My father woke up with memory problems, so I drove up there to help Mom. By the time I arrived, he was fine again. That happens sometimes. He'll wake up and have no idea who he is or where he is for a couple of hours. He was upset that I came to help, so I drove back home again just to keep him calm. He's stubborn that way.
I'd give everything I have to find a cure for dementia. It's cruel and unforgiving.
