From where I stand, at this point I don't see much difference between the far left, the far right or pretty much anything in between when it comes to masking, reducing transmission or keeping health care safe. Unlike in climate action where there is clearly a difference.
Everybody found their way of dismissal and denial everywhere in the spectrum.
I don't see any will for collective action or solidarity in either. Leftists are apparently just as OK with the very uneven impacts of unrestricted transmission as the right.
Both left and the right are also quite vocal about what to do with our failing health care systems. None of it includes infection prevention.
In case you wonder, my politics are center-left, and I too imagined there would be more will and solidarity on the left. I don't see it now.
