Thank you to kind strangers on Mastodon! I definitely checked at some point to see if the touchpad was disabled, but npub1pwkhjzzsa2v23csa423s42uh8gcxnjvqty2ux528cnywukk4rljq2w0afk (npub1pwk…0afk)'s suggestion just now made me try again, and deep in the settings, I found a disable touchpad setting! My touchpad works again! Now maybe a kind stranger can fix Thunderbird for me too hahaha
