I know that a lot of people are deleting their Twitter accounts over the AI nonsense being rolled out in their TOS upgrade. I appreciate and respect that decision. Fewer twitter accounts are a good thing. However, I will not be doing the same. My reasoning is twofold:

1. I have no reason to expect that "X" will abide by its own terms of service.

2. Deleting my account there cedes *total* control over a namespace that could be useful in future EMEs to encourage people to the Fediverse.
