#beer
I've been a fan of Williams Bros "Fraoch" heather ale since I first hated the prototype they trialled in a pub I worked in in the 90s. Dreadful...but they refined the recipe really quickly.
It still varies over the course of a year, depending on how fresh/dried the heather is. Summer tends to be floral, winter spicy, which is ideal. Right now it's VERY ginger-beer-like, recommended.
It's pronounced "FRU-och", och as in loch, not as in lock.
