I recommend: https://www.kalzumeus.com/2010/06/17/falsehoods-programmers-believe-about-names/ and for "Anyone with a name longer than 63 characters will need to cope with a contraction." 1) very nice to tell people that and 2) with non ASCII characters even a 20 characters name can be longer than 63 bytes and rejected by DNS. You will tell people to choose shorter names? "Can you give me an example?" Do you know IDNA? Do you see not all characters as valid in DNS?
