This is still significant. I'm going to say this is agreeing with the libtards for the wrong reason.

They said the same thing about glyphosate (Roundup), and they still maintain the same official opinion despite growing evidence (and common sense TBH) indicating otherwise.

It sounds to me like they went after this for protectionism reasons. They're certainly an activist group, but that doesn't mean they're wrong about everything.
