Everyone built lists, and had reviews, and tagged movies, and it was great. It was real people who populated it. I discovered so many great films through people's lists. But like everything online, people's crowdsourced data has been sold. I know exactly how many movies I've seen, and when, and what I thought of them because of Letterboxd. Just like I did with music and LastFM. Until they sold LastFM to CBS.",
