Haven't done one of these in a bit. The only MC I can think of who has kids is Ruby, from Bivy & R, who has three. I don't think it really occurred to me to write about someone with kids before I was a parent, and now that I am, maybe I don't want my kids to think I write about them? IDK, I think mostly I write what makes sense for the character, and for a lot of my MCs it's not really part of the story.
