I'm experimenting with actually using Linux (here Debian) on the (gasp!) desktop.
I'll have to admit to be quite pleasantly surprised at how smooth a number of things are going. (I do intend to write this up later).
One thing that is hair raising (coming from a Mac) is copy/paste. I'm a keyboard person, and have to now remember when to use CTL-C/V and when to use SHIFT-CTL-C/V. Also xclip(1) doesn't work (b/c Wayland I suppose).
