One of the reasons I consider Trump an idiot, is that his cabinet picks show absolutely no sense of political direction overall. At the very least he displays no interest in governing with any kind of goal in mind.
Not saying this isn't an unwelcome appointment, obviously. Just that I'm not surprised by it.
