How many times do we need to teach them this lesson, anyway? Strong encryption is a good thing for we-the-people, and there is *NO* way to weaken encryption in such a way that Only Certain Parties can access it for Only Lawful Purposes.
If you weaken a lock, or if a skeleton key exists, or if you have any kind of backdoor into a system, that's a weakness which ANYBODY who finds it and cracks the weakened lock can capitalize on.
