Saw what I thought was an ant, but its behaviour was captivating: drumming the leaf with its antennae like a wasp in search of caterpillars deep in the plant tissues. Soon I saw its abdomen raised, ending in a sharp ovipositor. This is not an ant despite appearances but a wingless wasp:
Gelis sp., a hyperparasitoid wasp.
