Some bastard's found the effigy again. They've stuck a needle into the spine, and another in the left flank. So I've dragged myself to bed before 7pm, where I am now struggling to find a sustainable agony-free position. My plan for tomorrow (go somewhere or other, eat things) is looking shaky.
