I was born in 68 in Soviet-occupied Hungary, I emigrated to the Austria in 87, then to the USA in 89. The parents of all my peers in school were survivors of 1956, and their grandparents were survivors of WW-II. My uncle returned from Soviet captivity after being captured in 1944. He walked during the night and hiding during the day, stealing food to survive.
I believe I know what I am talking about.
