No idea if folks will be into this one--it's not craft, not in the muck of writing a thing--but I've been thinking about it.

How do you prep for readings? Any strategies on practicing? (Rocks in your mouth by the crashing waves?) Do you edit or mark up the text to make it easer in an out-loud form? Or do you think about writing it in the first place for being read out loud?
