Well I'm living through a climate disaster, as I feared I would in 1989 when my 6th grade teacher first told me about global warming. Still gotta cook breakfast though and I have been unable to convince Spouse to stop mowing the lawn with a gas-powered mower. It's too close to their childhood dreams of suburban middle class success. Although I know their 3-4x annual usage of less than a gallon of gasoline isn't make-or-break, I still feel like a failure.
