rule of thumb: 60 mL of vodka contains about the same amount of alcohol as a 500 mL can of beer. a 700 mL bottle of vodka thus contains about 11-12 tall beers.

as it happens, i had exactly 60 mL of vodka in the fridge, so i added 420 mL of orange syrup and tonic water to it to get a 480 mL fruit punch with 5% ABV. it should have the same effect as drinking one can of beer.
