I think the big lesson of 2024 for publishers should be that the second Atlas Games released Ars Magica into the Creative Commons under a very clear, concise, and generous open license we instantly stopped seeing people trying to circumvent copyright law by recreating the parts of Ars Magica they liked from scratch and all just started working on fun projects for Ars Magica
