We've had a heat wave for many weeks now, with high temperatures at or above 90℉ (the average high temperature for this place and time of year is 78℉). We're very lucky to have a lake, a river, and a pond nearby to cool off. We went to the pond today and saw some baby ducks and a lot of dragonflies.
