Each day I try to post verses that stand out to me as I read the Proverb’s chapter of the day. There’s 30 chapters of Proverbs so it works out well for most every month.
From the ESV Study Bible:
“The theme of the book of Proverbs is stated at its beginning (1:1-7): its goal is to describe and instill “wisdom” in God’s people, a wisdom that is founded in ‘the fear of the Lord’ and that works out covenant life in the practical details of everyday situations and relationships.” I find it very helpful in the practical details of everyday situations and relationships. Hopefully you find it helpful as well.
Chapter 28 Proverbs indicate that righteous individuals are components of a just society.

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.
When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely.
Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.
A rich man is wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has understanding will find him out. When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, but when the wicked rise, people hide themselves.
Blessed is the one who fears the Lord always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall.”
