I think maybe the peas got associated with him because of the timing, I show this is his (very boring and basic) recipe

Jeb Bush's guacamole recipe became popular after he shared it on Twitter in 2015. Here's the recipe he posted:

Jeb's Guacamole Recipe:

3 avocados
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 medium onion, diced
2 small tomatoes, diced
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
1/2 jalapeño pepper, chopped
Instructions:

Scoop the avocado into a bowl and mash it to your desired consistency.
Add the lime juice, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
Stir in the onion, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve immediately with chips or as a topping.
