Eastern germany claimed 40 years long that the imperialist western heirs of the National Socialist Workers Party were constantly attacking them and sabotaging all peace efforts, often while standing before a depiction of a white dove, while at the same time housing protecting and arming the RAF terrorists, laying endless mine fields in Mosambique and offering moscow to send troops to help repress the prague spring movement.
It's always the exact same pattern, but the funniest thing at least to me actually is that this time they even managed to market it as the right wing talking point, at least in certain circles, and that it's been treated as the surpressed truth.
That shit is so obvious and yet time and time again people fall for it and let themselves be instrumentalized reaching that far that guys rocking the swastika everywhere left and right are rooting for the guy who from the start says he wants to fight the Nazis in the West, and has had the most prominent Neo Nazi figure there was in russia, the great Tesak, may he have a glorious afterlife, murdered in prison as a message to all organized neo nazis in russia.
And now the latest insanity is that everywhere people start to propagate and act like stalinism and national socialism were basically the same... i now really am pissed that nobody will ever see the Führers reaction to such a statement. Whoever comes to such an opinion, probably also actually believes that the NS ideology was about Hugo Boss and being nice to dogs.
How people even dare to equate a nation aspiring greatness above all through allowing, encouriging and promoting individual greatness in service of the nation to a regime on the other hand which viewed any form of aspiration as counter revolutionary and criminal political violence is beyond my comparison... And those people aren't even ill willed. I think they have the heart at the right place, they ajust lack certain experience and information which would make the bullshit clearly visible and hillarious.
