So repurposing space into a lab was a nightmare if you needed something a little different from what was originally designed. And you could easily get lost. Maze of twisted passages all alike.
Murray Hill, OTOH, was the opposite. Everything was different, chaotic. My office was down a corridor marked "Do not enter - not a corridor". Much nicer.
