AC1 was a good game, but after AC2 I just don't feel any reason to play it. AC2 and Brotherhood were fantastic. AC3 was rough. AC4 just lost my interest after a while. Origins was decent (but clearly a prototype of Odyssey). Odyssey was great. It's no2 of games by playtime on my steam list and it didn't feel like i lost interest. And now Valhalla is... only kinda ok so far. But it feels akin to AC4. And cumbersome.
