For example, the Images category includes all indexed images from the overall home directory which would usually be largely in Pictures and DCIM but not only in those directories. You can't create directories there since it's not a specific location.

The top level directory named after the device in the menu is really the per-profile home directory. It would make more sense if it was named after the profile than the device.
