Newsmast is a UK based business on the Fediverse that claims charity status in that country. Frequently using its own Mastodon instances and accounts and paid staff to brigade its own posts, the business's financing is opaque while it targets media organisations, charities, academic institutions and 'high profile individuals.'

Newsmast runs apps and collects personal data which it shares with vendors, consultants and other third parties. Founded by marketers and publishing in advertising journals, Newsmast appears to share little in common with other instances, operating more like small-scale corporate social media while leveraging the fediverse's open-source philosophy for exposure and gain.

Newsmast owns and operates the sites newsmastfoundation.org and channel.org and Mastodon instances newscast.social and newscast.community.
