I have long defended that unilateral exit should be defended as a constitutional right. The same applies to the absolutely delusional western governments which during the covid lockdown period banned citizens from leaving country unless with just cause. The right to exit a country (Immigration) is a fundamental human right. Emigration (entering a given country) is a whole different story and contingent on a social contract
