But it also doesn't mean (as it once did) pulling millions of cars off the road that each require individual servicing. A physical recall of 30% of a product line could devastate a company

Telsa "recalling" two million cars is a few thousand man hours of engineering time. It's a blip for them, business-wise

I'm not suggesting the company isn't lax or reckless (it clearly is) I'm just noting that the word 'recall' used to imply something for more onerous
