Many will not understand this model. In answering replies to the paid relay lists this has been immediately clear to me.
I think it’s important that pay2relay advocates spend their time and effort educating those people rather than reiterating their lack of understanding.
This is where the Austrian economics students of nostr have a role to play in its adoption - they can and must explain the praxeology and incentives at work.
More people discussing the benefits, helping outline where there are flaws and possible mitigations, detailing what might be possible in future with the current basis etc. Taking things back to first principles to deduce motivations and actions and reactions.
Messaging matters. It’s why the fiat world is the way it is. We need to start working on messaging now before outsiders do it for us.
