SIGH. OSIRIS-REx is absolutely incredible, but Japan's Hayabusa & Hayabusa2 collected the first asteroid samples 🤦
However, generally NASA have been great at crediting Hayabusa2 and correctly describing OREx as the first US asteroid sample return mission, and likely the largest sample ever collected. So eh, it was a small mistake.
