there are some things people will never, ever understand until it happens to them. having kids is one of them. good for you for helping. that’s just a taste. imagine SOME version of that EVERY DAY. and imagine knowing that how annoying it is or how bad it sucks, you’d do it 100 more times because it’s your kid. you don’t view the world or individuals the same ever again.
