I rewatched both Death Proof and Planet Terror for the first time since they came out, and basically confirmed my memories.

I'm a Tarantino fan and don't particularly care for Rodriguez, but Planet Terror is definitely the better movie of the two.

Tarantino movies always have great dialogue, and Death Proof is no exception, but it's a bit too long and slow for its own good. Planet Terror is thoroughly entertaining from start to finish.
