Recently I received my very first peer to peer bitcoin transfer and the feeling upon seeing the notification and the satoshis in my wallet, was happiness. There was something special about knowing that the payment was not intermediated and somehow it felt like a gift or a thank you, translated into or by the satoshis. The knowledge that no governing entity is needed for trillions upon trillions of similar transactions to occur seamlessly and securely, contributes to an undeniable feeling that this is world-changing, it signals something completely new for humanity on both a small and global scale. Bitcoin is helping each and everyone of us to affirm sovereignty and thus quietly, peacefully a revolution is happening. The beauty of how this revolution is unfolding and also the reason why it is so powerful, is that bitcoin is not involved in a fight, it simply offers another way and the freedom to choose
