While this is originally a NeoGeo arcade release, I personally discovered it on PSone.

It’s a play on the Magical Drop series.
But instead of just trying to link up 5 of the same coloured gems, Money Idol Exchanger uses Japanese coins.
So you need to get 5 ¥1 coins to create a ¥5 one.
Two ¥5 coins create a ¥10 coin.
Five ¥10 coins create a ¥50 one.
Two ¥50 ones gets you a ¥100 one.
Five of those get you a ¥500 one.
And two of those make them disappear.

Sounds a little complicated but it adds. Bit more strategy to the game.

We got localised versions under the name Money Puzzle Exchanger.
But sadly the Hamster releases on Switch and PS4 have been delisted in the west. But I believe it’s still available on the Japanese digital stores.
