I think we've been seeing more of what this can mean in Kursk, where Russia keeps bringing forth armored columns that completely lack the characteristics of projecting armored force, that increasingly get ripped to shreds not just by drones, but by actual, fully-functional tanks, who are increasingly operating with relative impunity, despite Russian drones.

Basically, the uglier, more rout-like side of a Lanchester square collapse... Soon with measurably less, more trashy capabilities.
