The German rail is so notoriously unreliable, that the Swiss won't let the trains in, if they're running late. Passengers are asked to switch to a Swiss train at the border to continue their journey. Now the Swiss are offering to consult the DB managment on how to run a rail network. But they should definately join the EU, what could possibly go wrong?
