Then there's questions about the efficacy of appealing to the state apparatus and at what level of organization we should tackle problems. In the case that's on my mind, hacker communities dealing with rape, I find appeals to state intervention, i.e. we won't kick out someone accused of rape without a conviction, to be flawed, in the sense that the state has a documented problem with addressing rape, so that leaves the problem unaddressed and makes their victims further victimized by [1/2]
