Because since I started fedi it has been patently obvious that the trolls here presented as leftist. It's not like Reddit where they come out with just a wall of hate normalization to push the window to the right. Here the strategy is different. Here they just push despair hidden by rage. Their goal is to kill hope.
And they don't complain about trump and Republicans, no. Never. They complain about the Democrats and other left wing politicians worldwide. They're not interested in hearing about how the alternative, given their nonsense of not supporting Democrats, is literally fascism on the dust cover.
They don't WANT a progressive winner. They're here to attack whoever the leftist candidate is and make you think progressives are all radicals incapable of reason, in order to scare you away from them.
