FWIW (given all the crazy comments here): I'm willing to get the flu shot because it doesn't make me sick. So if it's only 50% effective, eh, whatever, better than nothing.
I'm unwilling to get the COVID shot because it does make me sick -- very sick, sicker than anyone I know. And I got COVID anyway, so no. But if it didn't make me sick I'd get it.
