Needlecord brought it back in and maybe the finer cloth and new name helped? FYI I went to a school disco in 1983 in corduroy trousers and a sailor top (trendy because of Lady Di) and was teased horribly on account of the trousers being ‘cords’ and the fact I had made the top myself (a pretty complex sew for a 12 year old). It is a life event in which I learned a lot about masking, and now just slightly amusing. I was dévastée at the time!",
