I know some people eat their laying hens when they stop laying a lot. I cant do that. Is it because I named them? Or because it just seems wrong. Am I going to eat my cats when they get too feeble to catch rats and mice? I get it under severe conditions, I'd eat my leg if I had to, but under the remaining comforts of western civilization, I just like watching them live, lay the occasional egg, and be a happy chicken.
Does that make me a pussy? Thats all I really care about.
