have finished january calendar. physical one, a few days back into this practice.
there’s four or five goals or activities for growth every day.
small things. that can be accomplished in a half hour or longer if I’m feeling it that day and want to dive deeper.
every day is a little different, but biggest goals are daily, no breaks or weekends.
good balance of activities for body, mind, and soul.
jiu jitsu, lifting, active spanish practice, meditation, reading are all big ones.
subgoals service these, clean eating (carnivore), no alcohol, 10k steps, clean household, stretching, bedtime goal etc.
There are no financial or romantic or social goals really. This is all about facing yourself. That other stuff is for a different calendar, or in the case of friends and meeting people, maybe best to act spontaneously.
No career goals at all. Resume is a weird self-congratulatory history. The sun, the sea, your own internal resources, your opponent’s kimura lock don’t acknowledge such a silly concept.
These are only activities that further my interests and promote the discovery of new interests and parts of life I suspect will keep me level and engaged.
Playing more guitar, learning to surf, hiking, etc.
All the “productivity” stuff will fall into place (or it won’t) as I of course want to maximize the time spent on the good life stuff.
Anyway in the past I’ve found this to be a great life simplifier and fun exercise to begin the month. If you have any ideas or practices that could complement this pls share 🤙
