I do not believe she is a saint but Johnny Depp played up the whole misognystic "i dindu nuffin she's just a crazy woman" narrative that so many men use to dodge responsibility, and he used this narrative to win the lawsuit and fool the world. The piece Heard wrote where she alleges herself as a victim of domestic violence doesn't even mention Depp by name but he responded with a defamation lawsuit anyway. Seems like an admission of guilt to me.
In order to believe Depp, you'd have to believe that Heard had been painting bruises on herself years before alleging abuse, broke her own nose, pulled out clumps of her own hair, shat in the bed for revenge even though he wasn't home and wouldn't be for days, etc. etc. No, he was the real victim, of his much smaller, much less rich, much less famous wife. I call bs.
Not to mention his documented history of domestic violence and intimate partner abuse starts all the way back when Heard was a child. She is innocent and all the vitriol and mockery of her is the result of one of the greatest psyops ever pulled by a powerful, egomaniac Hollywood scrote.
