"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"
Sometimes those commies had a point.
Just not in economics.
I always thought the quote:
"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime" was from the Bible, but a quick internet search says that it is a Chinese proverb.
But to quote the good book:
Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Matthew 7:9
Don't hand out any stones today. Yes, shitposts can be stones.
One of the best parts of being a Bitcoiner is that, in most cases, we lift each other up. When we drop in price, you will always see the insecure, overleveraged, and scared folks lash out, lose faith, and try to tear their peers down. (Mostly on Xitter)
On NOSTR, probably a function of the people I chose to follow, it is a much different vibe.
I am making some rules for myself, as NOSTR is kind of a fresh start. If anyone sees me slipping out of these rules feel free to check me.
1. Add value to everything that you touch: No naked reposts for the sake of posting, unless I am amplifying a message.
2. Give people the tools and knowledge they need to drive their success: openly share knowledge, resources, and insight that can help people in their journey.
3. Be Useful.
