I agree, it does look like a web conference app like Jitsi or Signal groups with invite links, video and voice calls and I think unlimited size file sharing since it's P2P and works via hole punching or NAT traversal.
I wonder if their idea is to provide a way to backup chat invite conversations (not the backup of the conversation history) because I think after reinstalling the app we will be on a new identifier.
