We change broadband supplier and, although we requested to keep it, our landline number has been given to someone else which is a bit of a pain. At no point have we been told this or given the new number. Stuart has had that number for we think 48 years. Then it was possible to phone it locally with just the last 3 digits as phones were so rare. No Vodafone I would not recommend you nor the online help person who had me changing the sockets on the back of the router to see if that 'cured' it🤔🤔🙄
